Television: When 'The Oprah Winfrey Show,' went national in 1986, it became the number one talk show in syndication within just a year. Winfrey is expanding her reach in television after a recent deal inked with Discovery Health Channel to create her very own network, OWN (which stands for The Oprah Winfrey Network). OWN is expected to launch in 2010.
