Build a free message center with your kids Aug. 1

The Home Depot is sponsoring another of its free Saturday morning workshops for parents and kids to build something together.

The Aug. 1 workshop is a free "How-To Clinic" for children ages 5-12 where they will be building a message center with cork on one side and a whiteboard on the other. The class is from 9 a.m. to noon.

The Sept. 5 class is making a bean bag toss game.
