Free pastry, doughnut this morning

Now here's something to get out of bed for: Free pastries and doughnuts.

Starbucks and Tim Hortons are giving away the good stuff this morning.

First, the Starbucks deal: Pastry includes muffins, scones, bagels, croissants, etc.

Just click here and print out this coupon.

But the early bird gets the worm. This offer is good today, and only until a store runs out of its pastries or before 10:30 a.m. local time (whichever comes first.)

The offer isn't good at locations in Hawaii, airports or Barnes & Nobles bookstores.

Tim Hortons is giving away a free blueberry glazed or blueberry bloom doughnut today from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. to each customer while supplies last. The company's Web site doesn't mention anything about a coupon being necessary.

While these treats are not sugar free and aren't recommended for diabetics, they look incredibly enticing and worth finding a Tim Hortons.

What we love about Tim Hortons is that it has a trip planner, so you can find its doughnuts no matter where you are this summer. Homer Simpson would be proud.
