But the catch -- unlike most online offers that will mail the freebie to your home -- is that after signing up online you have to pick up the hat at an official Colorado Welcome Center.

Just tell them when you sign up when you'll be visiting Colorado and which of 10 welcome centers you'll pick it up at, and the hat is yours. Provide your e-mail address, and you'll get a reminder message a few weeks before you're due to arrive.
