Stocks poised for lower start ahead of data

U.S. stocks were poised to start lower Friday morning as worries over the economic recovery grew, and with it concerns about earnings season. Today, several economic reports will be in focus, including data on international trade and consumer confidence. Meanwhile, the new GM is expected to exit bankruptcy today.
