The worst drivers in the world usually live elsewhere, right? You couldn't believe how poorly the drivers in (insert city here) drove when you visited there. Well, each year Allstate crunches numbers and produces a report on just where you're most and least likely to have an accident.

The 2009 "Allstate America's Best Drivers Report" shows that you're better off taking a cab or subway in Washington, D.C, Baltimore, Md., Glendale, Calif., Hartford, Conn., and Newark, N.J., the five cities with the highest likelihood of accidents.

In D.C., drivers average a collision every 5.1 years and are 95.4% more likely than the average American driver to have a wreck. Other towns with high accident totals include Philadelphia, Pa., Elizabeth, N.J., Providence, R.I., San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
