Stocks set for a mixed open ahead of earnings season, G8 summit

U.S. stocks were poised for a flat to higher start Tuesday morning ahead of the beginning of the start of the second quarter earnings season to be unofficially kicked off Wednesday. The G8 summit also begins tomorrow in Italy. Meanwhile, a debate regarding a second stimulus package continues just as auto parts supplier Lear files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
