Wall Street poised for higher start ahead of retail, employment data

Wall Street was poised for a stronger start Thursday morning as investors awaited retail chain stores sales figures and more employment figures even as Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) announced it will create 22,000 U.S. jobs this year.
