Stocks poised for a higher start on economic recovery hopes

U.S. stock futures wavered Tuesday morning, between gains and losses, and they didn't do it in unison either. A debate over the economy is raging where some see a possible strong and quick recovery beginning the end of the year, while others fear that a recovery could come later and even then it will not be a V-shaped one the bulls hope for.

[Update: By 8:00 am, futures turned positive across the board.]
