Free Microsoft certifications for college students

One of the best ways to prove you that you know your stuff when it comes to Microsoft products is to get certified. Normally Microsoft certification is a costly venture, with the price per exam running more than $100.

But Microsoft is now offering free certification testing to all college students with a valid .edu address. This program, known as DreamSpark, is a venture designed to give high school and college students access to real world tools and certifications.

The free exams only cover the offer covers close to 50 Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) exams listed here.
