Applebee's responds to user's comment

The executive director of corporate communications for Dine Equity Inc., which is the parent company for Applebee's reached out to us to comment on the user's submission for our Restaurant Tricks feature (http://www.dailyfinance.com/specials/i-spy-restaurant-tricks):

Applebee's is always looking to improve our menu for our guests. One item that did recently change was our Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers. Based on our desire to provide guests with a more complete meal, we changed the offering from four Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers without fries to three with fries. The response from our guests has been very positive. It is clear that this writer did not like the change, so we will take that feedback into future consideration.
