Selling furniture with Rod Blagojevich

One Illinois furniture dealer came up with a brilliant ad campaign capitalizing on the scandal surrounding disgraced (now former) Governor Rod Blagojevich.

The ad reads "We sell more seats than the Governor. . . and our Senate seat only costs $1,999 (Plus this sofa lasts much longer than 6 years."

If Blagojevich is in a self-deprecating mood, he may be able to raise some money for his legal defense fund by working as a pitchman. He's already proven that he can sell anything and his appearances on every talk show that will have him on -- including David Letterman on Tuesday -- are providing him with a strong platform.
