Your financial questions answered, live from Jean Chatzky

Jean Chatzky will be making an appearance on LivePerson.com this Thursday, January 29, from 3 to 4 p.m., EST.

Many people know Chatsky as the financial editor on NBC's Today Show, among other things. She has a talk show on XM Radio and is a newspaper and magazine columnist and writes numerous financial self-help books.

It's a free online event with Chatzky, who will be answering questions regarding reducing your debt and improving your personal finance outlook.

I've never done one of these LivePerson.com events, where they often have experts available to talk to commoners like you and me, and so I have no idea many people will be online asking questions -- my guess: a lot -- and so I half-wonder what the odds are of getting an actual question in. But, still, if you have some time available, I'm sure it would be an interesting discussion.

And, of course, the fact that Ms. Chatsky is appearing on LivePerson.com right about now, probably has nothing to do with the fact that she has a timely book coming out in March: The Difference: How Anyone Can Prosper in Even the Toughest Times.
