As I prepare my kids' costumes for the upcoming night of sugar frenzy, I have to wonder, what will they see on the doorsteps of our neighborhood? Will the terrible stock market affect my neighbors' candy budgets? Do any homeowners nearby have to make the decision to spend their spare cash on their mortgage, not sweets, or face foreclosure? How will this year compare to last?
