Dollar Store Style hits the beach

I've been looking at all the stuff you can buy so you can lounge by the pool or on the beach in style. On the high end, you could pay as much as $145.00 for a straw hat, $280.00 for a pair of leather sandals and $395.00 for sunglasses that carry a designer name. This canvas tote is big enough to hold sunscreen, a beach blanket and a good book. Throw in a straw hat, a pair of colorful flip flops and some cheapie sunglasses and you're good to go. Who's gonna know you only paid $5.00 for for the whole works? Personally, I'm just as likely to brag about it - but that's just me. I've been wearing dollar store sunglasses for a couple of years now and I don't care who knows. They are very well made and I don't worry about losing them or fret about it if I accidentally sit on them.

This beach blanket throw is about 38" x 29". It isn't big enough to play bingo on with your pals but it makes a nice oasis for one on the hot sand or for sitting on the grass at a picnic.
