October foreclosure filings up 94% over last year
LOS ANGELES Foreclosure filings nearly doubled in October from the same month last year, latest sign that many homeowners are falling behind on mortgage payments and losing their homes, according to a mortgage research company.
Ohio's foreclosure rate remained among the highest in the country.
