Bogus Buyers Steal at NYC Apt. Showings

NEW YORK (AP) -- Thieves posing as potential buyers took advantage of open house showings of high-end apartments to make off with a diamond ring and other valuables, police and a broker said.
Police were searching early Friday for two suspects, who had been captured on security cameras at some of the four Manhattan buildings they targeted within the last three weeks.
The targeted apartments were on the Upper East and
