How can you get $20 off your groceries at this Florida supermarket chain? What to know

Take a double shot at Winn-Dixie, Fresco y Más or Harveys Supermarket — and score $20 in free groceries.

That’s the incentive Jacksonville-based Southeastern Grocers — parent company of those familiar Florida stores — is offering to customers as vaccine incentives.

To receive the free grocery offer, customers have to get two vaccines of their choice in one day from any Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket or Winn-Dixie in-store pharmacy. Do so, and you get a voucher for $20 in free groceries.

“We are committed to caring for and supporting our local communities,” said Meredith Hurley, senior director of communications and community for Southeastern Grocers. “As the summer months approach, more individuals will be traveling with friends and loved ones so now is the time for customers, and their families, to receive routine vaccinations to stay healthy throughout the season.”

Last fall, competing pharmacies including Publix, Walgreens and CVS had incentives for customers to get vaccines. Publix offered a coupon of $5 off purchases of $50 or more, or $10 off purchases of $100 or more to get the flu shot, with the offer was valid through November 2022.

Check with your pharmacy to see if it has incentives active.
