Yorktown police say two teenage girls from Northern Westchester were found Wednesday evening after they went missing Sunday, May 12.

Police confirmed that Violet Munroe, 15, of Yorktown and Evelyn Jimenez, 17, of Cortlandt, were found Wednesday evening around 6 p.m.

Law enforcement officials from multiple agencies and nonprofit organization Hope Alive 845 spent 10 days looking for the girls after they were declared missing after being seen in Peekskill the morning of May 12. They were seen a few days later getting off a Metro North train at Southeast station on May 16.

Police say no foul play was believed to be involved in their disappearance.
