Arch Manning, a five-star quarterback recruit out of Louisiana, was recently named the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2023 class by On3.

The latest recruiting database has the nephew of Peyton and Eli Manning as their No. 1 overall prospect for the 2023 class. Arch Manning, who plays for Isidore Newman in New Orleans, has racked up scholarship offers from nearly every major program in America.

But which schools are standing out?

According to On3’s recruiting database, there are two frontrunners for Arch Manning right now:

  • Georgia

  • Texas

Both the Bulldogs and the Longhorns are given the highest level of interest by On3’s recruiting database. Alabama, LSU and Ole Miss are the next-highest ranked schools.

Arch Manning has received high praise from just about everyone he’s come across, including his head coach.

“He has such a good level of humility,” Nelson Stewart, Manning’s coach at Isidore Newman School, told ESPN. “He doesn’t like attention and he doesn’t draw attention to himself. He just likes hanging out with his friends.”

Arch Manning has been taking his time with his recruitment, but it’s possible we could get a decision in the coming months. At this point, it sounds like the Longhorns and the Bulldogs are the two favorites.
