Arch Manning is seen as the best quarterback recruit since Trevor Lawrence, so it’s no surprise teams are lining up to visit him.

According to a new report from On3Sports, three college football programs plan to visit Manning this week. Two of those programs will be at Isidore Newman on Wednesday afternoon.

Ole Miss offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby is on the hunt for the top quarterback recruit in the 2023 class. So, too, will Jake Peetz, who served as offensive coordinator for Ed Orgeron at LSU.

Here’s more from On3Sports:

Ole Miss and LSU will be at the school on Wednesday and Texas is scheduled to be there on Thursday, according to Joseph Hastings of On3’s Clemson Sports. Hastings reports that Jake Peetz, who served as the offensive coordinator for LSU under Ed Orgeron, will be there for the Tigers. Ole Miss offensive coordinator Jeff Lebby will be there for the Rebels, Hastings said.

According to the report, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and two other Longhorns assistant coaches will also be visiting Manning this week as well.

“Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, quarterbacks coach A.J. Milwee and defensive passing game coordinator Terry Joseph are making the trip for the Longhorns, according to Hastings,” the report said.

Manning played his final game of the season over the weekend. He completed just 6-of-17 passes for 49 yards to go along with 15 rushing yards and a touchdown.

When asked what he needs to improve, Manning gave an honest answer.

“During the offseason, just try to improve everywhere,” Manning said postgame, per the Lafayette Daily Advertiser. “Running, getting bigger, getting more accurate. Improving my decision-making. So it’ll be a fun offseason, I’m ready to get back.”

Where will Manning land?
