15 Richland County players earn All-Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference honors for 2024 softball season

MANSFIELD — In all, 15 Richland County softball players were named to the All-Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference teams.

Clear Fork's Katrina Rogers and Mel Blubaugh joined Ontario's Trista Jewell and Eden Howard and Shelby's Mallary Gundrum and Kendal Parsons as first team selections.

MOAC BASEBALL: 12 Richland County players named All-Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference for 2024 baseball season

Blubaugh hit .512 with 43 hits, 10 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 25 RBIs and 44 runs scored while Rogers hit .386 with 32 hits, two doubles, eight home runs, 37 RBIs and 29 runs scored.

Jewell led the Warriors with a .425 average with 37 hits, 10 doubles, two home runs, 22 RBIs and 11 runs scored while Howard hit .360 with 31 hits, seven doubles, two triples, four home runs, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored while also posting a 5-5 record in the circle with a 3.55 earned run average and 77 strikeouts in 65 innings of work.

Gundrum had a sensational season hitting .549 with 50 hits, 10 doubles, five triples, seven home runs, 50 RBIs and 34 runs scored while Parsons hit .468 with 44 hits, 16 doubles, two triples, two home runs, 27 RBIs and 38 runs scored.

Clear Fork's Renee Anders and Macy Ousley joined Ontario's Autumn Taylor and Olivia Kreger and Shelby's Lexi Booker and Natalie Kennard as second team selections while Clear Fork's Miley Shafer, Ontario's Brinlee Kreger and Shelby's Kennedy Studer were honorable mentions.
