14 Miami Dolphins way-too-early 2025 mock drafts: NFL analysts make their predictions

Look through way-too-early mock drafts for the 2025 NFL Draft and you'll notice the Miami Dolphins are almost always projected to pick 21st or right around 21st next season.

That makes sense. The Dolphins picked Chop Robinson 21st this season. And they would have picked 21st in 2022 if not for an NFL tampering finding involving Tom Brady.

If the Dolphins pick 21st, they would again be a first-round playoff loser. This is a franchise that hasn't won a playoff game in 24 years so they'd much rather pick a bit lower.

Draft analysts believe the Dolphins will be looking for a defensive tackle or tight end. Those players would look to fill roles vacated by Christian Wilkins this offseason and perhaps Jonnu Smith in the future.

The Palm Beach Post surveyed 14 projections for next year's NFL draft. Two players stood out, but here is the complete list:

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan (ESPN, USA Today's Touchdown Wire, 247 Sports and The Draft Network)

Size, speed and versatility.

Devin Harris, CB, UTSA (CBS Sports)

High upside with prior stops at Texas A&M, LSU.

Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State (Bleacher Report)

Home run hitter, but another RB seems unlikely.
