Fall trends come and go, but the best fall sweaters are eternally stylish. My closet is stocked to the ceiling with button-up cardigans, pillow-soft crewnecks, and black turtlenecks—the sorts of sweaters that will always look good and keep me warm regardless of what’s happening on the runway. Still, I play favorites with my knitwear based on the current season and can’t resist something new when the leaves begin to change. The same can be said about Bazaar’s editors.
