What’s it about? The Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off is essentially Gossip Girl’s twin from the West Coast, since it chronicles the lives of elite students at West Beverly Hills High. It has the same soap opera elements that made us fall in love with GG, but it also tackles quite a few deep topics, including alcoholism and living with cancer.

Join Puleng (Qamata) as she sets out to investigate whether a popular athlete is actually her long-lost sister.

But in the process, they also deal with the wealthy “Kooks,” and issues like greed and drugs. We know—it sounds nothing like Gossip Girl, but if you especially enjoyed the soapy drama and romance, then you’ll love this mystery series.
