A 12-point game and more: Vote for the Cape Cod Girls Lacrosse Player of the Week
Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll.
High school sports fans can vote for which girls lacrosse players they think were standouts during the previous week.
The poll will be open from Wednesday through Tuesday. The winner will be announced on Wednesday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.
Rules of the Road
Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.
Last week's winner
Natalie Hurlbut, Falmouth Academy
Hurlbut won her first poll of the season with 55% of the votes. She had two draw controls to go with five goals in a 13-7 win over Abington.
This week's candidates
Mia Curley, St. John Paul II
Curley had seven goals and one assist in a 15-1 win over Sturgis West.
Chloe Egan, Barnstable
Egan had four goals and one assist in a 13-2 win over Bridgewater-Raynham.
Claire Kayajan, Barnstable
Kayajan had three goals and two assists in a win over Bridgewater-Raynham.
Julia Kipperman, Nauset
Kipperman scored five goals in a loss to Falmouth.
Bailey Lower, Nantucket
Lower scored nine goals, had three assists and 10 draw controls in a 17-6 win over Nauset.
Cydney Mosscrop, Nantucket
Mosscrop had two goals and three assists in a 17-5 win over Cape Cod Academy.
Emerson Pekarcik, Nantucket
Pekarcik finished with five goals and four assists in a win over Cape Cod Academy.
Olivia Powers, Cape Cod Academy
Powers had four goals and one assist for the Seahawks in a 11-7 win over Monomoy.
Taylor Simard, Bourne
Simard had three goals and two assists in a loss to Seekonk.
Adryanna Turner, Upper Cape
Turner scored seven goals for a 13-7 win over Bristol Plymouth.
