A 12-point day and more: Vote for the High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week

Lincoln-Sudbury's Dante Venuto has been voted the High School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week.

The junior received nearly 15,000 votes to earn the honor. Venuto won 16 of 22 faceoffs in a 17-5 win over Dover-Sherborn.

And this week's candidates are...

Peyton Volz, Jr., Southeastern: Volz had 5 goals and 3 assists in a 17-1 win over Westport.

Hunter Grafton, Sr., Abington: Grafton had 5 goals and 5 assists in a 20-4 win over Braintree. He also had 10 points (7 goals, 3 assists) in a 14-7 win over Rockland.

Shane Mulcahy, Jr., Cohasset: Mulcahy had 5 goals and 4 assists in a 15-2 win over Mashpee.

Connor McCarthy, Sr., Whitman-Hanson: McCarthy had 2 goals and 4 assists in an 11-10 win over Silver Lake.

Ben Tondrof, Jr., South Shore Tech: Tondorf score 6 goals in a 14-7 win over Blue Hills.

Willy Robinson + Lydon O'Brien, Scituate: Robinson had 7 goals and 2 assists in a 19-6 win over Bishop Feehan. O'Brien made 20 saves in a 9-5 win over Nauset while Robinson tallied 4 goals.

Pat Connor + Teddy Lynch, Quincy/North Quincy: Connor had 7 goals and 5 assists and Lynch had 8 points (6 goals, 2 assists) in a 21-6 win over Somerville.

Matt Corvi, Sr., Franklin: The goalie Corvi saved 17 shots in a 12-6 win over North Attleborough and made 20 saves in a 9-6 win over Lexington.

Elliot Koopersmith, Soph., Wayland: Koopersmith put away six goals for the Warriors in a 14-4 win over Bedford.

Jack Martin, Jr., Westborough: Martin scored his only goal of the game in overtime to deliver the Rangers their first win 11-10 over St. Bernard's. Martin also had five assists for Westborough.

Luc Masse, Sr., AMSA: Masse scored twice in a 7-5 win over North Middlesex, collected six goals and one assist in a 9-8 win over Tyngsborough and notched his 100th career point on an assist in a 14-2 win over Assabet. Masse scored four goals with two assists in the victory.

Alex Peck, Jr., Natick: Peck scored five times with two assists for the Redhawks in an 11-5 win over Weymouth. Peck also had a hat trick in an 11-4 victory over Newton North.

Brody Sharpe, Jr., Wellesley: Sharpe scored four goals with two assists as the Raiders bested Framingham, 9-5.

Gavin Shipos, Jr., Medway: Shipos accounted for three points with two goals and an assist for the Mustangs in a 7-6 victory over Ashland. He also scored twice in a loss to Westwood.
