Though it says "orthopedic" in the description, my dog sinks down into the center—which she loves—but that doesn't scream "easy on the bones." Encased in a super soft and cozy polyester shag, you can stick the whole damn thing in the wash and dryer. Incredibly soft with elevated sides, Mixjoy offers this bed in four sizes for pets up to 90 pounds, but based on our at-home test, I think small dogs, 25-pounds and under, will get the most of this style.

Not only does this crate pad mat come in five different sizes, it’s also reversible. Depending on whether your dog needs a cooling canvas mat or a warm soft mat, this bed provides both. We love that the XXL size works for dogs up to 110 pounds and all sizes can be used inside or outside the crate as needed. It’s also a budget-friendly purchase as prices range from $22 to $50. One reviewer raved, "This bed is perfect. It's exactly the right size for [my dog's] extra large crate, and it features two covers. You can also turn the hood into more of a tent if you want with an included plastic tube insert. Says one reviewer: "My dog is always cold and always snuggling under the blankets! At first she wasn't too sure about this, she just laid on top... until I taught her how to get under the cover. We got the 26" and she's about 25-30 lbs. It works best for her WITH the arch."
