How To Use Salmon Burgers for Any Meal

You can use these burgers to feed the whole family by putting the cooked burgers on toasted buns, whipping up a quick tartar sauce, and serving a salad or oven fries on the side. Or you can use them like I do. Since my husband is a vegetarian, I can easily make a meatless meal and then use one salmon burger to bulk up my portion. Here are just a few of my favorite ways to serve them:

For Breakfast

  • Sear a patty or two and flake into a skillet of scrambled eggs along with a handful of fresh baby spinach and chopped scallions

  • Mix a flaked patty with shredded cheese and chopped fresh dill to fill an omelet

 For Lunch and Dinner

  • Cook a couple of burgers and flake them up on top of a simple pasta dish

  • Make a big salad, and chop up a couple of warm salmon burgers to sprinkle over the top

  • Make a grain bowl bar, with the option of salmon or beans as the protein with veggies and a tasty sauce

  • Stuff a burger into a panini or pita with lettuce and a flavorful sauce

  • Smash the cooked salmon burgers with mayo for a salad, or purée them with cream cheese or sour cream for an easy salmon dip

  • Top store-bought pizza dough with chunks of cooked salmon burger, veggies, and a sprinkling of cheese
