Cops said people were gathered outside a Dollar General in southeast Columbus to honor the victim of a previous shooting, according to local ABC affiliate WSYX.

Exactly one year ago, on April 17, 2020, in the same Dollar General parking lot, 28-year-old Jarrin Hickman was fatally shot. Varmunyah Dunor, 20, was charged with Hickman’s murder.

In this year’s incident, bullet casings lay in the street, suggesting a possible drive-by shooting, the Dispatch reported. Authorities released no personal information about the victims.
