1 dead in Blendon Township after shooting at hookah lounge

One man died after a shooting at a hookah bar in Blendon Township on Sunday morning.

At around 3:34 a.m., Blendon Township police responded to a shooting at the No Cap Hookah Lounge & Grill, located at 4490 Cleveland Ave. One man was transported to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, according to a press release from the Blendon Township Police Department.

At the time of the release, police did not have a suspect in custody.

The township police's detective bureau is conducting the investigation into the shooting with the help of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Last week, three people died in a shooting at a different hookah bar on the city's north side.
