San Diego Comic-Con, once a niche convention, has become a multi-million dollar operation that attracts some of the best and biggest stars in the business. This year's festivities kicked off July 24, and featured plenty of sneak previews and awesome panels. Kit Harington talked about getting naked on the next season of "Game of Thrones." It was all pretty great.

But for us, the best part of the weekend is obviously the fashion. It's become a major stop for actresses promoting big projects (and we'd love to see more women there all the time, just sayin'). And because it's, well, Comic-Con, the ladies can try more colorful or experimental looks than they can on other red carpets.

The weekend clearly belonged to the women of "Game of Thrones,"who ran in a stylish pack. It was especially fun to watch the show's young starlets, Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner, take risks, and to see Gwendoline Christie get to try significantly more femme looks than her character, Brienne of Tarth, ever wears on the show. (Who has time for skirts when you're kicking ass all over Westeros?)

One to watch out for? Natalie Dormer, who basically owned the weekend thanks to major roles in "Game of Thrones" and the upcoming "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" movie (and also thanks to being amazingly gorgeous). Cate Blanchett and Elle Fanning made appearances, too.

Check out the best of the weekend's looks above.
