The weirdest trends from the fall 2014 bridal shows

We actually love this dress, but that headdress makes her look more like a bird than a bride.

Reem Acra

Wait, what? This is an odd one.

Eve of Milady

We're all for the crop top/high-waisted skirt trend, but not on your wedding day.

Houghton

This dress doesn't leave much to the imagination -- the bride won't be the only one blushing!

Reem Acra

We have a feeling we'd be obsessed with the gown this model is wearing, if only we could see it! Might work for a bride whose favorite fairy tale is Little Red Riding Hood, though.

Theia

Modesty can be truly stunning in a wedding gown, but this takes it to a whole new level.

Anna Maier

Some brides are overwhelmed by huge skirts, we feel like this bride is overwhelmed by lace.

Claire Pettibone

Ah, happens every season.  Not only does this skirt look like it weighs about 500 pounds, but it's a little too comforter-like for our taste.

Eve of Milady

This bride runs the risk of being completely overshadowed by her dress.

Ines Di Santo

This one isn't as big of an offender, but the comforter feel still slips in there...

Kenneth Pool

This just seems impossible to walk in.

Ines Di Santo

We love a good dress train, but this seems like more of a tail...

Kenneth Pool

Short dresses want trains too? But this definitely missed the mark.

Ines Di Santo

This dress's train has more of a cape-feel, but that's not necessarily a plus.

Sarah Jassir

A crystal back tattoo...? Nope, not for us.

Ines Di Santo

We knew this would be a trend for wedding gowns, but we just aren't on board yet. Did she drag her hem through the mud?!

Maggie Sottero

This one is a little more subtle, but definitely still an offender.  We love the beading designs, but wish it was all one color.

Maggie Sottero

Sometimes, simple is just too simple... and crosses over into nightgown territory.

Anna Maier

Even with the beading along the neckline, we still think this one needs more oomph.

Maggie Sottero

This kind of dress might work for some weddings, at least it looks comfy!
