2013: Golden Globes

This is a dress made by my friend’s label, Femmes D’Armes. The lining is actually shorter, it comes right up along the hips but I thought that was too racy for the Globes! So we had it lined a little longer. I wanted a slick ballerina bun, mainly because I was hosting for hours on the carpet and the wind was blowing like crazy.

2012: Academy Awards

This blush dress was made especially for me, by Black Halo. I felt like a princess, I was hosting the Oscars red carpet Live for ABC with 31 million people watching…so no pressure then! Under the skirt I had 2 mic packs Velcro-strapped to my thighs. So I could barely walk, just shuffle like some kind of insect! I’m wearing jewels by Jacqueline Nerguizian – diamonds worth more than my house!

2012: Variety's 4th Annual Power Of Women Event

This acid yellow one shoulder dress first caught my eye on the runway during New York Fashion Week. It’s by Lela Rose, and I paired it with painful but gorgeous turquoise Louboutins. I loved this outfit, I felt bright and happy.

2012: Fall Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Day 2

This was a risk, but I’m glad I went for it. A cloud-print and a mid-calf length, it’s by Rebecca Taylor and it was so freezing outside I had to wear boots – but it kinda worked, in a boho way!

2013: NBC Universal's 70th Golden Globes After Party

Gold top and fishtail skirt: Ahh this was a quick change out of the black lace Globes Gown, ready for the after-parties! It’s an iridescent skirt and chainmail top by London designer Manish Arora. If id been able to change my hair and makeup I would have gone for messy waves, but the bun showed off some cute rose gold earrings by Sorellina NYC.

2013: CFDA/Vogue Fashion Awards

Jumpsuits! I love a jumpsuit – so 1970’s. This emerald green one is by Rachel Roy, who’s date I was that night to the CFDA Awards in New York. I was scared to rock a turband but thought I should be daring not shy!

2012: MTV EMA's - Red Carpet Arrivals

Oh this gown was awesome, one of my all-time favorites. Sass and Bide, an edgy Australian designer, sent it from London to LA for me to try, literally right off the runway, and I wore the belt backwards. Somehow it worked better that way. I was in Frankfurt hosting the Europe Music Awards for MTV. That clutch is from my own collection at Stylistpick, I was very proud to carry it.

2010: OK! Magazine USA's Fifth Anniversary Party

This is a fairytale dress. Peach divoree lace draped beautifully, William Tempest is the designer and a hot name to watch. I put my hair in a loose sidebun and had a great and very late night, lots of dancing involved!

2011: MTV Video Music Awards – Arrivals

Halterneck with embellished top half: The MTV VMA’s in downtown LA, this was the night Beyonce revealed her pregnancy by rubbing her belly on stage…amazing. This dress is by Tibi, one of my favorite designers. We went for a plum smoky eye, I was scared to try it but I loved the result.

2010: HBO'S Post Emmy Awards Party

I love the color orange, I will wear it as much as possible. This was Pamela Roland at the Emmy’s after party a couple of year’s ago, and I’d been hosting live all day, had barely any sleep the night before, and if you can believe it, actually took a nap in this dress an hour or so beforehand. I felt like a zombie in this carpet but had an awesome time at the bash.

2010: The CW Network UpFront

I was so excited at this moment. It was in New York about 3 years ago at the upfronts for Plain Jane (my makeover show on MTV which was at that time, on the CW). The dress was tight and totally un-stretchy, very hard to sit down in but I felt glam! It’s by London label PPQ.

2011: Philips British Academy Television Awards

The BAFTA Awards in London, absolutely freezing but I hate wearing tights! These wedges are limited edition Asos and the purse is Jimmy Choo. I like mixing high and low pricepoints and love bringing a little print onto the red carpet.
