Baby bump alert!

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, attended her first royal engagement for 2015 today January 15th. Kate opened the Clore Art Room at Barlby Primary School, a program that supports children dealing with challenges by using art and creativity as a therapeutic tool.

Kate has been Patron of The Art Room since January of 2012, and she has attended many events and Art Room openings in support of the charity since then. This visit was originally scheduled for the fall, but Kate had been unable to attend because she was fighting hyperemesis gravidarum.

Today, Kate looked radiant in a navy shift dress by a new designer for her, British maternity label Madderson London (welcome to "The Kate Middleton Effect," Madderson... their website will not load for us at the moment!). The "Naomi" a-line shift dress (almost sold out, available for £450.00) is '60s inspired, with colorful tweed pocket flaps and trim along the bottom. When she arrived at the school, she received a rousing welcome from the students and faculty. Watch the sweet clip below!

Though bundled up under the coat, Kate's baby bump is much more pronounced today than it even was at Christmas time. Her hair had that can't-get-more-perfect maternity flawless-ness, and she accessorized with her Cartier watch, sapphire drop earrings and a matching navy suede Mulberry clutch.

After celebrating her 33rd birthday at her country home Amner Hall, the Duchess is officially back in action for 2015. She'll attend another event tomorrow, and then three successive engagements on Monday, January 19th. We can't wait to see how she continues to dress her growing baby bump!
