If there's one thing you must buy for your wardrobe this fall, it's a simple shift dress like this one.

A shift dress is quite possibly the easiest item of clothing to dress up or down. Add sneakers and a leather jacket, and you're good to go for the weekend. Throw on a blazer, and it's the perfect wear-to-work piece. Opportunities to wear the shift dress are endless, and though we especially like how Jess styled her striped version, any old color or pattern will do.
