Brooke Shields was 14 when she landed on the cover of Vogue for the very first time, making her the youngest model ever to grace the front of the magazine. Though now Brooke says she is now proud and honored of this accomplishment, at the time, all it meant to her young self was that it enabled her to travel Europe and initiated a love of French -- and fashion, we presume.

Since then, Brooke Shields has had a storied fashion career, and has become one of the world's most iconic models and actresses. We're always curious to see where fashion insiders like Brooke draw their biggest inspirations from, and as our guest editor this week, she gladly obliged.
