World Trade Center Becoming Nation's Tallest Building

Description:One World Trade Center reached a new height in progress Tuesday after workers installed the first piece of the spire that will make it the tallest building in the country. The 70-ton spire is just one of 18 pieces that will make up the 408-foot antennae that will sit atop 1 World Trade Center. Once completed, the spire will make the building reach the patriotic height of 1,776 feet. Officials expect installation to take about three months. (0:57)
