Description:A Louisiana-born singer songwriter slash producer, Mikky Ekko recently signed to RCA records based off his bluesy, soulful style. In 2010, his work caught the attention of producer Clams Casino, whose beats were a staple on ASAP Rockys breakout mix tape. That lead to several collabs between Ekko and Casino. Then Ekko got the big phone call from Rihanna who heard a song he wrote, Stay, and wanted it on her album. With Stay, he has his first appearance on the charts and at the Grammys. (0:55)
