Massive Drug Busts in Mexico and Honduras

Honduran authorities seize a record 15 tonnes of drugs buried beneath a rural house. The haul is estimated to be worth up to $450 million. The narcotics were thought to be the precursor chemicals to produce methamphetamine. The drugs were discovered in the town of Patagallina, located along a major drug smuggling route used by Colombian and Mexican cartels to bring drugs to the U.S.
