Veteran Teacher Accused Of Sexual Abuse In The 70's

Description:A veteran, award-winning teacher at a Chicago public high school is under investigation after a lawsuit was filed accusing him of child abuse more than 35 years ago. 68-year-old Harold Mash, who also goes by the name "Jerry," is named in the suit filed in Ohio yesterday by two men who claim Mash molested them while he worked at a suburban Toledo school in the 1970's. According to an investigation made by the Chicago Tribune, Mash was convicted of a separate child abuse charge in Ohio in 1976. The conviction did not show up in a 1990 background check. (2:20)
