Vattenfall's Wind Farm in Kent Will Be the World's Biggest Wind Farm

Description:In order to increase sustainable energy production, more offshore wind-farms are being built. The natural high winds and vast amount of space make for the idea conditions for a wind-farm. Swedish energy company Vattenfall have begun construction in the seabed off the Kent coastline of what will be the largest wind-farm in the world. The bases of the turbines will reach between 25 and 30 meters below the English Channel seabed. (1:00)
