Two Hospitalized After Commuter Train Crushes Car

Description:Two people were sent to Northwestern Memorial Hospital after their car was pinned under a Metra electric train during rush hour Monday afternoon. It was 5:30 pm when the driver of the vehicle, reportedly a woman, crossed the track with a passenger in the back seat. That's when the train smashed into the vehicle pinning it under the train. T he driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was sent in critical condition to the emergency room. Her passenger was in stable to serious condition. (2:05)
