Three-Month-Old Trapped Inside Apartment Fire

Description:A baby girl died in an apartment fire in the city’s East Garfield Park neighborhood Wednesday. Fire fighters were called to the scene of a blaze at a two-story building around 5 p.m. in the 3000 block of West Franklin. Fire officials reported heavy heat upon entry and a fire in the rear of the building. They confucted a search of the building and found the infant in a bedroom on the first floor. They report the infant is around 3 months old. (2:21)
