Description:The decision to jump out of an airplane and skydive Monday almost seemed easy compared to what Arturo Sullivan battled during his 18 years of life. Sullivan was born with a rare genetic disorder that affects bone growth known as Jeune’s Syndrome. He has spent most of his life in and out of Rady Children’s hospital and he was on life-support when his mother adopted him at 4-years-old. (1:54)
