Teacher’s Aide Accused Sexually Assaulting 11-Year-Old

Description:A teachers aide in the Corona-Norco Unified School District is accused of sexual assaulting a young student. Police in Corona say it started 2 years ago when Steven Martinez began sending inappropriate text messages to a then 11-year-old student at Orange Elementary School. Martinez allegedly asked the girl to send him pictures of herself, police say. The girl’s parents contacted police Monday after seeing the text messages. (1:50)
