Suspected Thieves Caught On Infrared Camera Trying To Steal Copper

Description:A man was caught after trying to steal copper wire from a business in Santa Ana. The suspect, 35-year-old Jeffery Lawing, was found on a roof in a commercial area around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Lawing apparently didn't realize people were inside the buildings, and had cut the power to the buildings when he tried to steal 100 feet of copper wire. (2:35)
