Seven Japanese Confirmed Dead in Algeria

Description:Algerian television broadcasts footage it says is of militants during the deadly attack on a gas plant last week. The amateur video, which cannot be independently verified by Reuters, is said to show the attackers standing around a body. It came as Japan confirmed that seven of its people were killed in the siege. Thirty-eight multinational hostages lost their lives as Algerian forces battled the insurgents.
