Senator In Court For Bringing Gun On Plane

Description:State Senator Donne Trotter appeared in court Wednesday in connection with his upcoming trial on felony weapons charges. Trotter moonlights at a security company. He was arrested at O’Hare last week when security inspectors found his gun and some bullets in his carry-on bag. Trotter says he forgot he packed the gun. Prosecutors decided to forgo Wednesday's preliminary hearing and take the case directly to a grand jury. (0:50)
