Self-Immolating Tibetan Protester Dies

Description:Tibetan protester Jamshel Yeshi died on Wednesday (March 28), two days after he set himself on fire. He was protesting against Chinese rule in Tibet. The activist was filmed running down a street, his body set ablaze on Monday (March 26). He was admitted to a hospital with 98 percent burns, and died after suffering a cardiac arrest. He timed his self-immolation for the arrival of Chinese President Hu Jintao in India, for the summit of BRICS emerging economies. (1:39)
